Indigenous Micro-Organisms

What is IMO

In agriculture and farming, the concept of using indigenous micro-organisms has gained popularity in recent years. Farmers and gardeners use IMO to enhance soil fertility, improve plant health, and promote sustainable farming practices. The idea is to collect beneficial micro-organisms from healthy ecosystems, such as forests or undisturbed soils, and introduce them into agricultural systems.

The application of indigenous micro-organisms is based on the belief that these micro-organisms can help restore and maintain the natural balance of micro-organisms in the soil, which in turn supports plant growth and overall ecosystem health. The use of IMO can contribute to the reduction of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, leading to more environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural practices.

IMO 1

In this video, Chris Trump from https://naturalfarming.co teaches you how to create IMO1.

This video is about teaching and empowering farmers and gardeners collect their own indigenous microorganisms for use in increasing soil fertility and disease prevention. In this video, you will learn how to effectively collect IMO for your own environment with very little cost or labor.

IMO 2

Chris Trump from naturalfarming.co teaches you how to create IMO2.

This is the second step of cultivating IMO ‘indigenous microorganism’ as used in the method in agriculture known as “Korean Natural Farming”, “natural farming, and “Natural Science Farming”. We will also learn how to properly store and keep your IMO1 collection. This process is known as IMO2.

IMO 3

IMO 4

In this video, Chris Trump from https://naturalfarming.co teaches you how to create IMO4.

Spreading IMO 4 on your garden. The formula isĀ 330 lbs per quarter acre.

  • 1/4 acre is really close to 1,000 sq Meters.
  • 330 lbs are really close to 150 Kilos.
  • So you get
    • 1 kg of IMO4 to 6.66 sq meters of garden
    • a 10-meter by 2-meter garden is 20 sq meters and gets 3 kg of IMO4

Soil Treatment Solution. (SOS)

Liquid IMO4, 1:500 LAB, 1:1000
FPJ, 1:500 OHN, 1:1000
FAA, 1:1000 BRV, 1:500
Sea Water, 1:25

When organic matter is low in your garden, Charcoal/biochar, 500-2,000 lbs / acre.
20 sq Meters, 1.25-5 kg. Do a light dampening then mulch. (To protect the IMO from the sunlight!) 70% shade protection. 2-5 cm.

Working Around the World.

We are not the only location that is involved in Aquaponics. We work with a number of different partners in Nepal, the Philippines, India, and Bangladesh, helping to improve the quality of life through food security & good practices.

Regenerative Farming

At all times, we look at how we can improve the biome of the soil.

Through cultivating Indigenous Micro Organisms, we give them an environment suited to their propagation.
